LED light technology has been hailed as the future of lighting. The long-term considerations
are clear - replacing out of date – energy sapping halogen and incandescent bulbs, with new
more energy efficient LED lamps means, reducing your energy costs, extended product life
and taking care of your environment.
Eco – Friendly Lighting
Considered to be the best direct replacement for your standard bulbs, LED bulbs will save on average around 80% on energy costs. Normal Halogen and Incandescent lighting loose the majority of the electricity consumed in the form of heat. You will have noticed, after just a few minutes of use, your normal light bulbs become incredibly hot. LED bulbs operate at around 80% efficiency,
Where 80% of electricity is converted in to light instead of heat, compared to
Halogen and Incandescent lighting, that turns just 20% electricity in to light energy and wastes 80% in lost heat.

Compared to conventional light sources, LED bulbs typically last around 50,000 To 70,000 hours, that's 25 times longer than all Halogen and Incandescent lighting.

A common misconception of LED lighting is people think that they must contain some form of harmful material. This may be true of Halogen, Incandescent and CFL's (compact fluorescent lamps) where toxic substances such as Mercury and Lead are used in their production. LED bulbs do not contain any of these dangerous materials and are completely safe for Domestic, Commercial and Social use.
Little or NO Light pollution

Has far more control than standard light sources. The accurate beam angles and directional nature of the light generated by our LED bulbs can be used more effectively to illuminate specific areas of a room, work space or outdoor area.
As a result, there will be less light pollution from wasted uncontrolled light.
No Flickering - UV or IR Emissions
Unlike a lot of your traditional light sources, LED lighting will not give off potentially harmful radiation, such as Infrared Radiation or Ultraviolet Rays.
LED light tubes will not "Flicker", often an irritating and common problem with fluorescent Tubes.

The initial costs of changing over to LED lighting may be slightly higher than replacing your old and out off date bulbs.
